Utilizing high productivity carriers in all trade lanes between ports throughout the world, Seamax global can handle your ocean shipments from port-to-port or door-to-door on a single Bill of Lading. Through its comprehensive service of integrated logistics, the company is able to provide domestic and international transportation of containerized (Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Than Container Load (LCL)), Oversized Cargo by ocean. We handle a wide variety of cargo ranging from personal effects, commercial goods, heavy duty equipments, Oil tools, trucks and vehicles, construction equipments, Oil drilling rigs and project/break bulk cargoes. FCL - (Full Container Loads)
Full load containers are supplied for your exclusive use door to door for each journey. Container services are now available between most major ports around the world and Seamax Global can make all the necessary arrangements for you on a door to door basis. Specific equipment is available to accommodate most cargo, including open top and temperature controlled containers, and for ease of loading we can deliver containers with special equipment to place them at ground level. There are five common standard lengths of containers, 20 ft (6.1 m), 40 ft (12.2 m), 45 ft (13.7 m), 48 ft (14.6 m), and 53 ft (16.2 m) - Please note 48 ft or 53 ft containers are not available from the Far East. US domestic standard containers are generally 48 ft and 53 ft (rail and truck). Container capacity is measured in twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU, or sometimes teu). A twenty-foot equivalent unit is a measure of containerized cargo capacity equal to one standard 20 ft (length) × 8 ft (width) × 8 ft 6 in (height) container. LCL - (Less Than Container Load)
For consignments that are less than a full container load Seamax Global is able to offer customers the benefits of consolidated cargo services between most of the major industrial centres of the world. o Regular containerized consolidation (LCL) services to and from most major ports. o Full Container Loads (FCL) , on scheduled services around the globe. o Conventional liner services for outsize and project loads |
